About the Seminar
The online seminar offers pharmacy service providers in Hong Kong valuable insights drawn from Macau’s successful pharmacist-led medication refill services in community pharmacies. As Hong Kong advances its primary healthcare initiatives, including a community drug formulary and the Community Pharmacy Programme, participants will explore Macau’s practical approaches to workflow, IT integration, medication labeling, premises setup, manpower allocation, and interprofessional collaboration.
By examining Macau’s model, the seminar highlights effective strategies for strengthening medication safety and improving access to chronic disease medications prescribed in hospitals. Participants will gain actionable lessons to support the effective implementation of refill services in Hong Kong, fostering readiness for upcoming changes in the pharmacy landscape and advancements in community healthcare delivery.
